Founded in 2018 in Pesaro, the Piadificio concept has successfully reinterpreted a great classic of tradition, the piadina, transforming it into a contemporary experience defined by quality, research, and a strong connection to the local area.
Today, this evolutionary journey continues with a new opening, designed to bring the concept to a strategic and evocative setting such as the port of Fano.
For this new opening, Piadificio has chosen us at Subissati to shape and define the look of their venue, with a clear objective: to maintain aesthetic and brand consistency with the other locations already established in Pesaro and Milan.
Work on the new project began at the end of February this year and is now at an advanced stage.
The new venue is developed on a single floor, covering an area of approximately 129 square meters, and is conceived as a linear and modern structure designed to be both welcoming and functional.
It will be enhanced by large perimeter glass surfaces that will make the space particularly airy and bright, creating a strong connection between indoor and outdoor environments.
The structure is made of self-supporting laminated timber using a frame construction system: a method that involves a load-bearing framework composed of wooden studs and beams, subsequently enclosed and layered with high-performance materials. This approach allows for great execution precision, high energy performance, and a significant reduction in construction time.
Further defining the project are the exposed beams, painted in line with the brand’s colors—a choice that reinforces the venue’s visual identity while maintaining a balanced and non-intrusive aesthetic impact, perfectly integrated into the surrounding context.
Designed to interact with its surroundings, the venue blends harmoniously into the setting of the port of Fano, offering a balance between contemporary design and functionality, enhancing the customer experience at every moment of the day.
Wood once again proves to be the ideal choice for the food service sector: sustainable, safe, highly efficient, and capable of ensuring fast construction times.
The construction site is in full swing, and every detail is taking shape day by day, anticipating what will become a new landmark for dining in Fano.
The opening is now close: in the meantime, this project once again demonstrates how building with wood means creating welcoming, efficient spaces designed to stand the test of time.
