A Christmas present, perhaps a little late, but certainly a welcome one for the many children ofCorinaldo (AN),who were able to resume lessons at thenew “A. Veronica” schoolonMonday 10th.
Work on the new school complex started at the end of 2020. In addition to the kindergarten, work on the secondary school is at an advanced stage.Both buildings have been constructed in glulam and are therefore sustainable and environmentally friendly.
The projectlooks to the futureand was, in the words ofMayor Matteo Principi,a practical step towards guaranteeing a “better world”for the new generations.
The new building is onone floor of around 800 square meters and is surrounded by more than 1,000 square meters of green space.
A safe, efficient and sustainable schoolwith large, functional spaces, outdoor areas that are easily accessible from each section, specific rooms for laboratories and a library, in which the architecture, use of materials, construction technologies, energy saving and production systems will become astarting point for direct learning and education for all the children.
