The Marche’s fastest sports hall is opened - Tavullia (PU)

Saturday, 14 October marked the official opening of the new sports hall of Tavullia.

The achievement, which has kept us busy for several months, has now drawn to its conclusion.

The opening was attended by the Mayor, Francesca Paolucci, and all councillors of the municipality of Tavullia, as well as all the mayors or their representatives of the surrounding municipalities, the civil and religious authorities, the middle and secondary school students and a great many local residents of Tavullia.

Clearly Francesco Subissati also attended the ceremony, with all our company’s technical staff.

The mayor and the whole of the administration complimented our company on its speed and precision in carrying out the works. In this case too, we managed to complete the structure very quickly indeed, considering its dimensions. The works, which had begun in March, were completed in October.

The sports hall consists of two main bodies: a play area and a changing room area. The play area has a total surface area in excess of 800 m2, with a maximum height of more than 7 m, whilst the changing rooms stretch out for more than 180 m2 and both structures have use class IV with fire resistance REI 60.

The sports hall was developed entirely from lamellar wood, using mixed technology: “Post and Beam” was employed for the structure’s main wooden frames and “Subissati Platform Frame” for the diaphragm walls and changing rooms.

The plants of the new structure (energy class A4) were designed to combine energy savings with building comfort.
