This single-family villa was completed last year in Trecastelli (AN, Ancona province), through a collaboration with the Rosci firm of architects.
The home stands in a tranquil residential area surrounded by a large garden and its prominent position gives it a panorama from three sides.
The wooden house is built on a single floor of around 140 m², in addition to around 35 m² of portico.
The structure and the roof slabs are made entirely of laminated wood.
A building that is classic in style and form but of decidedly modern materials. As well as the quality materials, the installed systems are of the next generation and give the house excellent energy efficiency ratings.
As well as the energy efficiency we should not forget that a wooden home is also protected against earthquakes. Wood is definitely one of the lightest and strongest materials and with its flexibility and elasticity, it can sustain a greater level of seismic forces.
The home was built using Subissati Platform Frame building technology.
