The inauguration of the gymnasium at the new “Marchetti” school complex will be held on Saturday, March 14th at 11:30 a.m.
The official inauguration of the new gymnasium marks the completion of the new “Marchetti” school complex in Senigallia. The building represents the third complex of the Saline campus and marks a further milestone for the Subissati company, which was responsible for the construction of the entire school complex.
Following the partial opening of the complex in October 2025, the delivery of the gymnasium represents the final step in a project that has quickly returned to the community a modern, sustainable campus designed for the needs of the new generations. The sports facility, already in use by students since the beginning of January, is intended for the school’s physical activities, as well as for initiatives by local sports associations, thus expanding the spaces available to the city.
The gym was designed as a CONI-approved multipurpose facility, measuring approximately 30 by 18 meters, capable of hosting various sports and group activities. The goal is to provide a hub not only for education but also for extracurricular sports, including training sessions, tournaments, and events open to the public.
The project is part of the larger Saline school complex project, which includes the “Marchetti” middle school, the “Arcobaleno” preschool, and the new school gymnasium. The complex extends over a redeveloped area of over 18,500 square meters and represents one of the most significant recent investments in the city’s school building sector.
The inauguration of the gymnasium will officially complete the new “Marchetti” school complex, a project that has rapidly transformed a marginal area into a modern, sustainable, and community-friendly educational space.
Citizens are invited to attend the inauguration ceremony to discover the new facility up close, designed to become a hub for schools and city sports.
