The new "Marino Moretti" primary school in Poggio Torriana (RN) located in Santo Marino is ever closer to assuming what will be its final appearance.
After having installed the bearing structures, we are putting the finishing touches to the exterior cladding and the internal fittings.
The school extends over a single floor of about 800 m2 and it was built completely from lamellar wood with a frame construction system.
The building was designed and built with the best building technologies and the interiors were conceived and designed to best facilitate teaching activities. The structure contains 5 classrooms of about 45 m2, a canteen, a science and computer lab and a music/multimedia lab. Furthermore, a green teaching area will be built outside with its own botanic garden, replete with planted areas and accessible paths.
The facility was also designed to host events outside of normal school activities such as cultural activities, games, sports and activities aimed at bringing children and families together.
The new school is also at the cutting edge in terms of energy-saving thanks to the presence of a wall-mounted condensing boiler and the installation of thermostatic valves on each individual heater.
.
The school was built with "Platform Frame" building technology.
