At the start of September the work was started for the extension of two new sections of the nursery school on via Tavullia in the town of Gradara. The foundation work has finished and the assembly of the school structure for the raised wooden part has just started.
The safety of the building site is the fundamental element which the local administration, the company Subissati and the management of the work, entrusted to the Manager of the town Technical Office, Paolo Morelli (Engineer), and his collaborator Ilaria Ancona (Engineer), have insisted on right from the start. Our appointed technician Omero Bassotti (Engineer) of Consultec organised and implemented right from the start all of the safety measures necessary so that the extension could be achieved in the planned ways and timeframes without hindering and interfering with the normal execution of the school activity in the whole via Tavullia complex.
The building represents the home of the children, the space that welcomes and represents them, where they carry out the main activities of learning, communion with others and rest. It is therefore indispensible to havean adequate space, and dedicated furnishing with which to structure the various moments of the day. The element that perhaps more than others helps to understand and connote a space is the light -meaning natural light.
The company Subissatihas decided to design the structure in plywood with a Platform-Frame construction system for a nominal life equal to 100 years. This project undertaking is therefore directly correlated with theClass of Use of the Constructionwhich the same company, Subissati, has decided to undertakewith a value equal to IV. According to the same Technical Reference Standard D.M.14.01.2008 in fact, adopted when there are seismic actions Class of use equal to IV, the wooden construction which is the subjectof the following tender notice, is assimilated by order of importance,relating what is indicated in §2.4.2 (Classes of Use)in "Constructions with important public or strategic functions, also with reference to the management of the civil protection in the case of a natural disaster".
