Gymnasium and pre-school opened - Vallefoglia (PU)

On Saturday 16 December, Bottega di Colbordolo, Vallefoglia (PU) hosted the official opening of the School Pole baptised A. Romanò, P. Mattarella, Pio La Torre and the gymnasium named “Palafoglia Sesto Ondedei”.

The opening was attended by the Mayor of Vallefoglia, Palmiro Ucchielli and all members of the Council, as well as the Prefect of Pesaro, Carla Cincarilli and the Archbiship of Urbino, the Marshal of the Carabinieri police force, the President of the Provincial Authority, Daniele Tagliolini, Deputy Mayor of Pesaro Vimini and Regional Councillor, Andrea Biancani, the Head of the comprehensive institute Pian del Bruscolo, Regional Councillor for Public Education, Loretta Bravi, and the Mayors of the surrounding municipalities, as well as by numerous children and their families.

Clearly Francesco Subissati and Paolo Subissati also attended the ceremony, together with all our company’s technical staff.

The mayor and the whole of the administration complimented our company on its speed and precision in carrying out the works. In this case too, we managed to complete the structure very quickly indeed, considering its dimensions. The works, which had begun in August, were completed in December.

The school hub, which comprises the primary school (with a total of 15 classrooms plus the canteen, a main classroom and an amphitheatre) has been completely restored and extended through to 1300 m2; the new gymnasium, built ex novo and measuring approximately 800 m2, will be available to all students of the complex.

Both structures have been developed from lamellar wood using the mixed construction technology “Subissati Platform Frame” and “Subissati Post and Beam”.

Innovative, technological and environmentally-sustainable constructions in energy class A4, with fire resistance of R60.
