On Thursday, 31st March 2011, our plants hosted the Technical Seminar “Wood in building”.
The conference discussed the matter of wood as a construction material, whose importance is being increasingly reconsidered. Indeed, with the introduction of the New Technical Regulations on Construction NTC 2008, wood has been taken to the same level as all other construction materials, with the regulation providing guidelines for the design of wooden structures, thereby making up for the lack of regulations contained in Ministerial Decree 1996 where structural wood had not really been considered as a construction material.
The conference was organised by Subissati srl in collaboration with the Board of Surveyors and Graduate Surveyors in the Province of Ancona.
Subissati would like to thank the Board of Surveyors of the province of Ancona for their positive collaboration, the Chairman, Geom. Fabio Bartolucci, the Director, Geom. Diego Sbaffi and the secretary, who all helped organise the Seminar, as well as all those who participated.
