BIRTHPLACE OF SAINT MARIA GORETTI: DEVELOPMENT OF A TOURIST WELCOME AND INFORMATION CENTRE

Works for the development of a wooden building in Via Pregiagna, Corinaldo have begun. The building will be used as a tourist welcome and information centre to add value to the sacred place that is the birthplace of Saint Maria Goretti in Corinaldo.

After having completed the foundation works, in just a few days installation of the wooden support structure started and drew to a close, through to the positioning of the waterproofing cover and related tiles on the roof.

We hope to complete works to turnkey status by the end of April.

The design prepared by the Manager of the Public Works Sector of Corinaldo Local Council, Geom. Bizzarri, involves a structure of multi-purpose use and suitable technical quality. A structure of more than 200 square metres with great seismic safety, thanks to the use of the Platform Frame construction system, LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION and durable materials used for the structure, which is duly designed to be fit for its purpose, completely integrated into the surrounding agricultural environment and of architectonic respect, give the tourist welcome and information centre a relevance that, in the circuit of optimising the sacred places of the province of Ancona and the region Marche, to bring it into line with the principles of respect and optimisation of the Marche landscape.
